How to report alleged copyright infringement involving OpenTech-hosted or operated content, where applicable.
OpenTech Support respects intellectual property rights and responds to notices of alleged copyright infringement where applicable under relevant law, including the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”).
1. Filing a DMCA Notice
If you believe content under OpenTech’s control infringes your copyright, send a written notice that includes:
- your full name and contact information,
- identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed,
- identification of the allegedly infringing material and its location,
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized,
- a statement that the information in the notice is accurate,
- a statement made under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner,
- your physical or electronic signature.
2. Counter-Notification
If you believe material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification where permitted by applicable law.
3. Repeat Infringement
OpenTech may suspend or terminate access in appropriate circumstances involving repeated infringement or repeated violations of intellectual property rights.
