Focus on the impact
The fastest-triaged tickets clearly explain the service affected, scope, and business impact.

What to include

  1. Describe the service or system affected.
  2. Explain what is failing or unavailable.
  3. Include when the problem started.
  4. State whether one user or multiple users are affected.
  5. Add screenshots or exact error text if available.

Examples of service issues

  • Email is not sending or receiving
  • Users cannot connect to VPN
  • Portal access is failing
  • Wi-Fi or internet is unstable
  • Business applications are unavailable
