Faster triage starts with better detail
A short but complete ticket usually saves time and reduces follow-up questions.

Try to include

  • A clear summary of the issue
  • When the problem started
  • Who is affected
  • Whether the issue affects one user or multiple people
  • Any error message or screenshot
  • What you already tried

Examples of useful detail

  • Exact wording of the error
  • Device name or workstation if known
  • Application or service involved
  • Whether this is blocking work or just intermittent
