How to Reply to an Existing Ticket

Use this guide when you need to add information, answer a technician, or provide an update on an open request.

Keep replies in the same ticket
Replying inside the original ticket keeps the issue history together and avoids duplicate requests.

How to update a ticket

  1. Open the client portal.
  2. Go to your existing tickets.
  3. Select the ticket you want to update.
  4. Add your reply, update, screenshot, or requested detail.
  5. Submit the response in the same ticket thread.

Helpful updates to include

  • Whether the issue changed or got worse
  • New screenshots or error messages
  • Whether more users are now affected
  • Whether the issue has been resolved temporarily
